Barnföreställning – Berättelsen om CHANTAVIA

 The story about CHANTAVIA- the village where everybody sings. About the strangers on the other side of the river. (For children from 4 years, in swedish)

Chantavia is a village with slightly different premises for communication. The inhabitants only can sing and depending on age more or less complex melodies. Children and adults can improvise between all the melodies they have learned during their lifetime. The village eldest is 150 years old and at that age he has started to rediscover the first melodies he learned as a child. One day the villagers spots a girl they do not know.

In the story about Chantavia the children can be involved in parts of the show by dancing, singing, move around and improvise. The story enlightens the problems of not knowing another language or culture, and how people and society handles this.
