Oskar Nyman & Jonas Mattebo

A new duo from Umeå.
Inspired by american duets from 1930´s and 1940´s, as well as more recent american acoustic music, the expression becomes both modern and older in one. Always with the naked sound that duos mean, and without safety when the two instruments explores improvised paths.

Oskar is a multi instrumentalist, singer and composer. Jonas is an award winning mandolinist who otherwise plays in Sideshow Stringband. They have both been a part of the american folk music scene in Umeå for more than ten years.
